Not at all! Flexibility is something you develop through yoga practice, not a prerequisite. Our beginner classes are designed to meet you exactly where you are, and our instructors provide modifications for every pose to ensure you can participate safely and comfortably.
Just yourself and an open mind! We provide yoga mats, blocks, straps, and all other props you might need. Wear comfortable clothes that allow you to move freely, and bring a water bottle to stay hydrated. We also have mats available for purchase if you'd like your own.
For beginners, we recommend starting with 2-3 classes per week to allow your body time to adapt and recover. As you build strength and familiarity with the practice, you can increase frequency. The most important thing is consistency - regular practice, even if it's just once a week, will yield better results than sporadic intensive sessions.
Absolutely! Yoga is beneficial for people of all ages. We offer gentle yoga classes specifically designed for seniors, focusing on improving flexibility, balance, and strength while being mindful of any physical limitations. Our instructors are trained to provide modifications and can work with you to ensure a safe, enjoyable practice.
We understand that life happens! You can cancel or reschedule your class up to 2 hours before the start time without penalty. Late cancellations or no-shows will result in the loss of that class credit. For monthly memberships, we require 30 days notice for cancellation to avoid being charged for the following month.
